Otley 10 Mile Road Race – Wednesday 11th June 2008

Otley Athletic Club are delighted to confirm that this year’s race (the Club’s 25th Anniversary) will take place on Wednesday 11th June commencing at 7.30pm kindly sponsored by The Divan Centre, Leeds (and if you want further advice / quote on anything bed retail-related then contact OAC’s President Carl Walsh and mention you’re a runner), Up & Running and Yorkshire Tea from Betty's.

RACE ENTRY FORM now available from here.

Alternatively enter online via www.runnersworld.co.uk where there’s also additional background.

This year all finishers will receive a race-commissioned bottle of beer from Nick Stafford’s Hambleton Ales.

Unfortunately, the highly enjoyable Beat The Clock 5km which was held in conjunction with the Town’s cycle races in 2007 will not be held this year due to a demanding schedule on cycle races’ organisers – however we are hopeful that this race may be back in 2009.

However, the Washburn Valley Relay for invited local running clubs has been set for Friday 18th July in a new 3-stage format (old stage one has been removed) and the Round Hill Fell Race starting at Timble near Otley has been confirmed for Sunday 27th July.
